Keepin' it flexible.
My life took many turns and twists: I was born in Korea, performed all over the world with my crew, and today I’m based in Switzerland. But no matter where I’m at, I’m always dancing.
Getting started in Korea.
My breaking talent was discovered when I performed a solid handstand instead of catching the football as a goalkeeper at my elementary school in Suwon. Together with my “discoverer” Kwangsuk Park (AKA B-Boy Issue) I started to get into breaking. Soon after, we participated in local battles, won school competitions, and performed at small events. When we were 17, we joined forces with other local dancers and eventually formed our own crew “Morning of Owl”.

As a crew we decided to “go hard or go home”. And we didn’t go home 😉. We won first local, later international competitions such as "R16 World Final", "UK World B-Boy Championship", and "The Dance". We pushed each other to the limit, and everyone started to develop his own style. I discovered my love for flexible and dynamic movements, and they are the foundation of my dancing today still.
Going my own way in Switzerland.
After performing for many years successfully as a crew we decided to start a new chapter and go separate ways. Love is what brought me to Switzerland. Here, I joined the worldwide success show “Break the Tango”, where these two dance styles are combined to reach new hights. Other projects followed; one I hold especially dear is my first solo piece that I created together with Lucas Del Rio Estévez for the Breakthrough Festival 2021. Since 2022 I perform in the "Young Artists" show of "Das Zelt" all around Switzerland, together with some of the most promising talents of the new generation.
